Since AutoTronics Taipei joined with Taipei AMPA, the number of buyers and participating businesses has notably multiplied.  Together, the two exhibitions offer foreign buyers a complete product platform for one-stop sourcing.  It is now the largest automotive electronic expo in Asia.  The show, the largest in the nation, is also complemented by various forums, seminars, and procurement conferences.

Industry Overview

Advancement of technology brings greater safety and automotive electronics has become one means to this end. Currently, automotive electronics composes a mere 20% of the total cost to manufacturing a car, but it is expected that the ratio will soar to 40% by the year 2010 with a market scale reaching US$192 billion.  It is projected that in 2015, the ratio will further climb to 50% with a market scale of US$400 billion.
